DWX-4, A Small yet Powerful Mill
The DWX-4 offers an incredible dry milling solution, perfect for a clinician wishing to embrace chairside milling or a small lab ready to bring milling in house.
As standard the DWX-4 utilises two milling burrs (typically for roughing and fine finishing) however this can be increased to four by incorporating a four tool autochanger.
This 4-axis mill is perfect for accurate milling of single unit crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays and small bridges.
As a dry milling machine, it requires extraction and a negative ion generator neutralises static and helps provide cleaner working environment for the milling of materials such as PMMA.
DWX-42W Wet Milling for Clinics and Laboratories
The DWX-42W brings the freedom of accurate milling of glass ceramics and lithium disilicate into the hands of the clinician as well as laboratory technicians.
Accuracy, speed and detail are a given with the DWX-42W Wet milling machine. The six tool changer offers the user a selection of tools to work from meaning that the perfect combination of speed and detail can be achieved every time.
As a wet machine, the ability to mill materials such as lithium disilicate and glass ceramics is now an option. A wide range of composite materials can also be milled for applications such as temporary crowns and bridges.
This 4-axis machine has three block positions enabling the user to mill up to three crowns or small bridges in a given milling session. This offers great flexibility for such a small machine and in a clinic setting, this facilitates milling of multiple units for the same patient in one set-up meaning the mill can be set up and all work completed without any further involvement by the user.
DWX-52D Delivers Increased Productivity and Indications
The DWX-52D is the perfect partner for the laboratory with increased milling capacity requirements and the need to deliver more complex work. The DWX-52D offers greater flexibility in milling capability due to the ability to mill standard 98mm (x 60mm deep) discs, 15 tool changer and full 5-axis milling freedom. Disc changing is simple with discs stored in mounting clamps for simple and practical material changeover.
A 6-unit block holder facilitates the milling of standard blocks offering even greater flexibility and enabling the milling of multiple materials and block shades in the same milling session.
This dry milling machine delivers the ability to mill materials such as zirconia, composite resin, glass reinforced resin, wax, acrylic, PMMA, Gypsum and CoCr sinter material giving the user the ability to mill a wide range of indications from copings and single unit crowns to full arch bridges, abutments, implant supported bars and partial / full dentures.
DWX-52DCi Delivering Maximised Productivity
The inclusion of a 6-disc autochanger increases the productivity capacity of the high volume laboratory to a level that is hard to beat through such a cost effective solution.
Take advantage of everything that the DWX-52D offers with the increased productivity that is delivered by the 6 disc autochanger. The mill run can be configured to automatically mill uninterrupted on multiple discs or simply enjoy the freedom of having disc changing completed automatically.

CIM Systems have developed two CAM products suitable for driving the DWX range of milling machines. Millbox is optimised for driving the DWX-4 and DWX-42W milling machines while SUM3D is developed to deliver optimised performance for the more complex strategy and tool path generation required to drive the 5-axis DWX-52D and DCi machines.
