Comparing Vacuum and Pressure Thermoforming
A vacuum thermoforming unit creates a relative pressure difference of up to about 0.8 bar. The Drufo range of products offer a pressure difference of up to 6 bar – so that is up to 7 times more pressure acting on the surface of the softened blank forming it around the model.
This allows for forming thicker materials and ensures a more accurate and better fitting appliance.

Dreve have developed a range of materials in blank sizes compatible with Dreve equipment and 3rd party thermoforming units enabling you to deliver the widest range of thermoformed appliances.
Each material is delivered in a package with a barcodes to automatically program Drufomat Scan and Drufosmart Scan thermoforming units with the optimal heating and cooling profiles.
