The performance of the PC/Laptop used with a 3Shape Trios scanner are crucial to the scanning experience. For this reason, it is recommended to frequently update Windows, all the drivers and especially the graphics card drivers.
In this article, we want to present the different steps to follow to update Windows 10.
Please note this is not applicable to 3Shape Cart or Move.
How to update Windows 10
1. Windows Update Settings
Click on the Windows button on the bottom left corner of the screen
Type “Update” and click on
2. Set to update automatically
Click on Advanced Options
Make sure the following Update options are On
3. Install any available updates
Return to the Windows update page and click on the “Check for updates” button.
Once prompted, click on the “Install now” button.
In the Status of each available update, you will see that it will start by downloading it and then do the installation.
If a lot of updates are needed, you might need to restart the machine a few times.
If a restart is required the button will change to “Restart Now” and an icon will show on the bottom right corner of the screen with a red exclamation mark.
