Managing Director
Mark Barry B.Sc. (Eng), M.Phil.

An early pioneer of Digital Dentistry, Mark began providing a Digital Study Model service for Dentists as early as 2007 and was one of the first to realise the industry changing potential of scanning technology.

A passionate speaker and advocate for the advancement of Digital Dentistry Mark regularly is a frequent presenter at dental conferences, exhibitors’ forums and regional study group meetings. He has been published in both The Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and Private Dental Laboratory (UK) as well as reviewed articles for The American Journal of Orthodontics. 

With a first-class honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree researching ‘the strength of taper-lock dental implants, he is well versed in this area.

He has also worked for several years as a lecturer at DIT focusing on 3D Scanning, CAD/CAM, production and quality strategies, describing his love of teaching and mentoring as ‘food for the soul’. 

As a director and founder of ESM you are inevitably going to spend time with Mark as he shares his extensive knowledge of dental technology and the possibilities available to you and your dental business.

Mark is a keen road cyclist and volunteers with his local Sea Scout group which gives him plenty of opportunity to spend time in the open air on land and on sea. 

Dentist and Specialist Orthodontist
Dr. Stephen Gallagher MOrth., MDentCh.
A qualified Dentist and Specialist Orthodontist having completed his studies in Trinity College Dublin and The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Stephen became acutely aware early on of the industry changing potential of Digital Dentistry. While still running a specialist orthodontic practice in Dublin he recognised the potential for a stand-alone dedicated business model dedicated to providing and educating the wider dental community on the technology available, together with Mark, founded ESM Digital Solutions to educate and provide cutting edge technological solutions to the profession.  

When not at the chairside, Stephen enjoyed playing music and has built up a strong following for his online music sessions.

Customer Operations Manager
David Dupre

Having completed his studies in Information Technology in France, David started his career with Hewlett Packard working his way up from a technical support engineer to team leader and then manager of the server and storage team for northern Europe. He has also worked as a field service engineer with Bloomberg installing network equipment for high profile financial institutions in Paris.

More recently he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Management of Internet Enterprise Systems with Dublin City University. With fifteen years’ experience managing global technical support teams, he is committed to ensuring ESM Digital consistently provides a first-class level service to its customers.

In his spare time David created a community Judo Academy so that his children would have the opportunity to learn the sport. At weekends he coaches at his local soccer club and GAA.

Application and Software Support Specialist
Joseph Johnston
Joseph is a self-taught programmer, having learnt over his father’s shoulder as a child. He studied Physics and Chemistry at the Technological University of Dublin while simultaneously completing a Diploma in Software Development and Full Stack Web Development.

Joseph’s had a varied technical career working for CIE, The HSE and The Department of Justice.>He has recently undergone intense training with Formlabs in Berlin and has been enjoying putting the ESM Digital Solutions inhouse Form3 printer through its paces and discovering its full potential.

In his spare time Joseph enjoys coding and is also an avid player of board games.

Training & Applications Specialist
Clíodhna Coyle

Clíodhna is a fully qualified Dental Technician having attained her Degree in Dental Technology with Trinity College Dublin. She began her professional career working in a laboratory before deciding to join the ESM Digital Team.

Specialising in Orthodontic Software and 3D Printing, she works closely with clients in Ireland and the United Kingdom assisting them with training and support.

Our training specialists are Involved in an ongoing cycle of updating their skills with new technologies progressing rapidly in the dental industry. Clíodhna has completed many relevant courses including clear aligner studio, dental system, implant studio and Trios design studio.

She also collaborates with 3Shape on pre-product launches and is intrinsically involved in beta testing stages of their new products. This allows her to be uniquely attuned to the many possibilities afforded through 3Shape.

Clíodhna is a talented baker, enjoys travelling and has a particular affinity for the National Botanical Gardens where she walks regularly.

Technical Support
Ciaran Corcoran

With a Degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from the Technological University of Dublin and many more certifications to his name, Ciaran works as part of our Technical Support team. His knowledge of 3D printing is extensive, having worked in the Research and Development Lab for printers at Hewlett Packard.

He is routinely supporting the more technical aspects of what we do from simple software updates to complex installations in large hospitals. He has a wealth of experience in troubleshooting and is always at the other end of the phone or an email to help you resolve any issues you might have.

Ciaran is a keen sportsman from Navan with an impressive golf handicap and recently completed the Dublin Marathon!

Accounts Specialist
Angela Keogh

Angela Keogh manages our accounts office. She takes care of customer software renewals, billing issues and any account inquiries you may have.

She spends her weekends canoeing in Loughshinny with family and shares her love for arts and crafts with her children.

The whole process was seamless
“I initially bought a Trios 3 to begin my digital dentistry journey. ESM had been recommended by a friend, and after the initial enquiry, Mark visited with a Trios Move for a demo. The whole process was seamless, with finance organised at the same time. Mark came and gave the team training and stayed to help us with a few patients we had booked in for treatment too, leaving us prepared for getting to work with it. It’s no exaggeration to say it has totally revolutionised the way we work in both restorative and ortho treatment. After a little while of using the Trios , I decided to go all in and buy a Roland DWX42W mill from ESM for same day restorations, which again, has pushed the level of service we provide to a whole new level.
